Good place with free wi-fi, a cozy lounge area, and a great restaurant. The staff even helped return my forgotten jewelry! I highly recommend it, and I'm coming back for Christmas.

Got well-organised superior queen room with nice bathroom as expected, enjoyed it. The location was central, short walk to various lakes and mountains, Bouth near Ulverston, and a pub.

We had a really really nice stay even on a Friday night.
We didn't feel like leaving and would come here again. Booked a room with GREAT views onto the hills. We walked everywhere, the location was unbeatable and brilliant, on fields at the back of the property. And it was also next to restaurant, Kendal, and the southern lakes of the Lake District.

Bouth vibes and lekker brekkie 🥞
The brekkie is a total winner-like, the best choice I've ever seen! The views while you eat, ag man, fine! The staff are chommies, super friendly and helpful. Nice cosy room, perfect for a chilled stay, especially after all that good food!
Room a bit warm at times, but nothing a fan can't fix.

We enjoyed a family trip with our teenage kids, indulging in some cycling around the fine countryside. The food was fantastic, with an awesome breakfast spread that really filled us up for a day of exploring. Clean rooms and great atmosphere, too!
My kids wished for a few more activities for teenagers.

The white hart was positively charming, really. My stay was overshadowed by a cold room, thin quilt, and a locked bathroom across the hall. One might expect a complimentary upgrade for enduring these inconveniences, but I almost gave a good review-just couldn't!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, particularly the breakfast with its amazing mural and large windows showing deer grazing outside. After a day of exploring, I loved relaxing in the cozy lounge area with a good book, soaking in the lovely ambience. Just a heads up, the stairs can be a bit steep, so be careful, but it really adds to the character of the place! 🦌

A lovely stay with a charming atmosphere, with a spacious room with rustic touches and cleanliness that stood out. The thin crispy fries at dinner were an absolute delight, complementing the busy and vibrant pub atmosphere. A loud motor noise infiltrated the night, disrupting sleep, alongside a shy shower with inconsistent pressure that hindered the experience. Despite these drawbacks, the staff were accommodating and cute.

Our attic stay offered charming beams and a cozy atmosphere. Dinner was a highlight-delicious prawn Thermidor and massive gammon. Expect a good breakfast too! Just a tip, reserve your dinner table in advance as it fills up quickly. Perfect for dog lovers!
